In order to access these reports, the user must have the reporting function enabled in their user profile. It is a valuable tool and typically used by Insurers and Underwriters for renewal purposes. The ‘Claim Enquiry Report’ allows the user to run a report on all claims linked to either a policy number or client code. The report shows a summary of the claim details and loss ratio, to give the user a snapshot of the insured’s claim history. The ‘Claim History Report’ allows the user to create a report of the claim’s history for a chosen policyholder and can be downloaded as a pdf or excel document.
Run a claim enquiry report
- Select ‘REPORTING’ and then ‘CLAIM ENQUIRY’ from the left-hand side menu
- Select the insurer from the drop-down menu
- Input the policy number into the ‘POLICY NUMBER’ field or the client code into the ‘CLIENT CODE’ field
- Click the ‘GENERATE REPORT’button
- This will generate an on-screen view of the claims linked to the policy with the claim summary view.
- Note: This report cannot be downloaded.
- The claims linked to that policy number will display in the available table
- Note: Clicking a claim number will take you to that claim, to navigate back to this report you will need to click back and then enter rerun the report. This is typically used by insurers and their underwriters to assist with their renewal process.
Run a claim history report
- Select ‘REPORTING’ and then ‘CLAIM HISTORY’ from the left-hand side menu
- You will be provided with filters to generate a report, as well as previously run reports below.
- Select the insurer from the drop-down menu
- Input the policy number into the ‘POLICY NUMBER’ field or the client code into the ‘CLIENT CODE’ field
- Click the ‘GENERATE REPORT’button
- The report will display with the status of ‘PENDING’ until the report is available to view or download.
- All claim history reports including the recently generated report will display in the available table
- Upon the status changing to ‘COMPLETE’ in the status column of the report, you will then be able to download the document:
- Click the green download icon
to download the report as an excel document
- Click the blue download icon
to download the report as a pdf document
- Click the green download icon
- If you wish to delete the claim history report, click the bin icon
next to the report you wish to delete
