Managing documents, photos and videos

Upload a document 

The Document section allows you to upload any file to the claim that is up to 10mb. The preview functionality is currently limited to PDF and MSG document types. 

 

  • Select DOCUMENTS’ from the left-hand side menu. 
  • Click ‘UPLOAD DOCUMENT’ button. 
    • A pop-up window will display asking you to select the file you would like to upload to the claim. 
    • Select the file by highlighting the file in the selection window. 
    • Click ‘OPEN’ to select the file for upload. 
  • Note: You can also upload documents by dragging and dropping the file into the document area. The area will highlight with a dotted blue line when it is able to be dropped successfully into this claim. 


Users can share a link to parties on a claim to upload documents directly to the claim from their device. 

  • From the DOCUMENTS’ section of the claim 
  • Click the copy icon  next to the unique claim document uploader link 
  • The link will become highlighted and a green pop-up will display confirming that the link has been copied to your clipboard 
     
    • This link can be shared in emails, letters and SMS, by pasting this link into the chosen communication method. 


View uploaded document 

  • To preview an uploaded document (only available for PDF and MSG files), click the icon on the attachment in the File column.
    • A pop-up window will display with a preview of the attachment.
    • Click ‘CLOSE’ on the bottom of the document or ‘X’ top right to close and navigate back to the Documents section.
  • Note: To identify which files are available to preview, the file name in the File column will be in a bold blue text. 


Edit uploaded document details 

  • Click the Pencil  icon to edit the file name and document type. 
    • A pop-up window will display with two fields. 
    • The first field labelled ‘FILE NAME’ allows you to change the name of the file in the claim. 
    • The second field labelled ‘DOCUMENT TYPE’ allows you to assign the document type from the available options in the drop-down menu – typically the document naming conventions are configurable and can be client specific. 
    • Click ‘UPDATE’ button to save the changes. 


Sharing the document 

  • Click the lock icon Unlock to modify the sharing of the file.
    • A pop-up window will display with the current parties the file is being shared with.
    • If the name of the party is highlighted in ‘Blue’ the document is shared with them. 
    • Clicking the party will remove the blue highlighting and it will no longer be viewable by those users. 
    • Click ‘SHARE’ to save the sharing options. 
  • Note: The document is automatically shared with the Insurer upon uploading it to ClaimLogik Plus. Removing all parties from the shared list will make it only accessible by Tenant users. 


Download the document 

  • Click the download icon Download to download a copy of the file.
    • The file will be downloaded to your download folder and can be saved or sent as required. 


Upload a photo 

  • Select PHOTOS & VIDEOS’ from the left-hand side menu. 
  • Click ‘+ UPLOAD PHOTO’ button. 
    • A pop-up window will display asking you to select the photo/image you would like to upload to the claim. 
    • Select the file by highlighting the photo/image in the selection window. 
    • Click ‘OPEN’ to select the photo/image for upload. 
  • Note: Photos are limited to 10mb per photo. 


View and edit uploaded photo 

  • Click on the image you wish to view/edit. 
    • A pop-up window will display with a preview of the photo/image. 
    • You will be able to edit the name of the image by changing the text in the ‘TITLE’ field. 
    • You can provide a description of the image in the ‘DESCRIPTION’ field.     
    • Click ‘CLOSE’ on the bottom of the document or 'X' top right to close and navigate back to the 'PHOTOS & VIDEOS' section. 
Note: You are not able to delete a file from a claim. 


Download the photo 

  • Click the download icon Download under the image to download a copy of the photo/image. 
    • The file will be downloaded to your download folder and can be saved or sent as required. 


Upload a video 

  • Videos are uploaded automatically via the GO-LIVE’ functionality
    • Review the GO-LIVE’ module for more information. 

View uploaded videos 

  • Click on the green video icon   for the video you wish to view. 
    • A pop-up window will display with a preview of the video. 
    • Click ‘CLOSE’ on the bottom of the video or 'X' top right to close and navigate back to the 'PHOTOS & VIDEOS' section. 

Note: You are not able to delete a video from a claim. 




Open in LiveLogik 

  • Click the OPEN IN LIVELOGIK’ button in the bottom right-hand corner. 
    • This will open a new tab where you are able to interact with the claim in LiveLogik.
